With the year nearly wrapped up, we’ve found ourselves looking back at what 2025 actually ended up being. It wasn’t a quiet one, that’s for sure. We’ve had all sorts going on — celebrations, community bits, a few big milestones, and plenty of moments where the team’s hard graft really got noticed. In all honesty, it’s probably the fullest and most satisfying year we’ve had in quite a while.
A Year Marking 60 Years of Cooks
One of the standout moments for all of us was celebrating our 60th anniversary. We marked the occasion with two brilliant events:
Community has always been at the heart of Cooks, and these events reminded us just how important that is.
Supporting Charities and Local Causes
Our charitable work didn’t stop there. This year we sponsored the GoGo Safari Rhino: Horatio Horn’Ocerus, created for Break Charity - and later bought the sculpture at auction to raise even more funds for a cause we care deeply about.
We were also proud to be part of the Royal Norfolk Show, with the Hörmann team joining us on the stand. It was a great chance to meet customers, showcase products, and catch up with industry partners.
Industry Recognition and Major Milestones
2025 brought some brilliant recognition for the team:
These achievements reflect the hard work put in across every part of the business - from surveyors and installers to our call-out and office staff.
We also invested in our marketing this year, with a dedicated content day, bringing in a professional videographer to capture our products, showroom and installation quality. These new videos will sit on our website and social media very soon.

We also noticed continued interest in product ranges such as Hörmann sectional doors, high-speed doors, Titan shutters, and a growing number of enquiries for gates and barrier systems, which we’ll be expanding even further in 2026.
Our Teams Going Above and Beyond
One thing we’re especially proud of is the way our engineers continued to deliver for customers - often in situations where timing really mattered.
A recent call-out review summed this up perfectly:
“Great service by Cooks - we had an emergency call out to repair our roller shutter which got stuck in an open position, and they had two guys on site within the hour to get it sorted. Would highly recommend”.
Another customer wrote:
“A surveyor called who was very knowledgeable and a quote was received the next day. The doors were fitted sooner than expected by two kind and professional fitters… I am very happy with the result.”
Feedback like this genuinely matters to us. It says a lot about the standards we try to keep and the pride the team puts into every job — whether it’s a late-night call-out, a rushed repair, or something more routine like a planned installation.
