A local community centre is often the heart of the village, and the Acle War Memorial Recreation Centre is certainly no exception. Home to the Acle Social Club, a bar, cafe, football and tennis grounds, daily fitness classes, the venue for parties, weddings and celebrations - it’s a busy building that caters to the diverse population of the local area.
Being such a treasured place in the local community, keeping the building safe and secure for future users is a key priority. We were pleased to provide the rec centre with Steelguard shutters that keep the building secure, building and installing huge 7400 x 2600mm shutters across the main entrance of the building.
The massive shutters were built inhouse at Cooks by our highly experienced team, the Steelguard shutters were finished in ral 7016 anthracite grey for a modern look. The heavy duty shutters provide incredible protection from intruders or accidental damage, whilst the easy automatic operation makes usage simple for the many different users of the centre.
