What Does Secured by Design Mean?Â
Secured by Design (SBD) is an official police organisation that works with police forces, architects, developers and local authority planners to improve the security of buildings through design. Designing buildings, housing estates and premises with preventative measures in mind from the first phase of development, so that security is built in, makes for safer neighbourhoods with reduced crime rates.Â
