In a worst case scenario, your site might not even be able to operate at all. That’s why our repairs and maintenance team plays such a crucial role in what we do.
For many of our customers, we’re not just the team who install their doors - we’re also the people they call when things go wrong - often at the most inconvenient times. Fortunately, we have an experienced team who understand both the urgency of the situation and the practicalities of working on live industrial sites.
Two of those people are Mark and Colin.

Mark is our Associate Director for Repairs & Maintenance and has been part of the team for over 33 years.
That level of experience brings with it a level of calm that can only be truly appreciated at the point of something going wrong. Whether it's a damaged roller shutter or a failed sectional door, Mark is responsible for making sure the right decisions are made quickly.
His role includes everything from overseeing the repair work and supporting our on-site engineers through to handling our most complex and time-sensitive jobs. He is also heavily involved in our 24/7 emergency call-out service and helps to ensure that when our customers need us, we’re ready to respond.
Mark’s position relies heavily on his judgement and technical knowledge, because no two call-outs are ever the same. His ability to assess a situation quickly and put the right plan in place is what makes him so popular with our customers.
When he’s not at work, Mark enjoys motorcycling, spending time with his family and heading to the theatre.

Working alongside Mark is our Operations Manager for Repairs & Maintenance, Colin.
Colin’s role involves overseeing the organisation and planning of servicing schedules, as well as coordinating the day-to-day response of call-outs. It’s a role that sits right at the centre of the operation.
When our customers contact us, Colin is typically the person who ensures that we have the right engineer in the right place at the right time. That often involves careful balancing of planned maintenance visits with urgent repairs, as well as adjusting schedules at short notice when priorities change.
In the four years that Colin has been with us, he has become a key part of how we keep our customers’ facilities running smoothly. Good organisation plays a key part, but so does communication, responsiveness and a clear understanding of how different sites operate.
Away from work, Colin is heavily involved in the local community. He helps to organise events such as the North Walsham Fun Day and Christmas Lights, as well as treading the boards in local theatre productions.
Mark and Colin are a big part of our team. Their combined experience, along with that of our wider team of engineers, help ensure that whether it’s a planned visit or an urgent call-out, our customers know exactly what to expect from us - a straightforward, dependable service that keeps their site moving.
