One of our recent projects was the installation of two Hormann high speed spiral doors for the Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Norwich. These doors are ideal for car showrooms and workshops, as they offer fast and smooth operation, excellent insulation, and attractive design.
Exceptionally Fast Opening Speed
High speed spiral doors are designed to open and close quickly and precisely, reducing heat loss and noise. They are made of galvanised steel sections with polyurethane foam infill, which provide strength and thermal insulation. The sections are rolled up into a spiral bracket when the door is opened, ensuring an exceptionally fast opening speed of up to 2.5 m/sec. The door is operated by a powerful frequency converter control with a 7-segment function display and a membrane keypad. The door also has a safety light grille integrated in the frame to prevent accidents.
Tinted Windows
The doors that we installed for the Jaguar Land Rover dealership have a micrograin external finish in RAL 7022 Umbra Grey and an internal stucco finish in RAL 9005 Jet Black. They also have eight rows of full width tinted grey vision windows, which allow natural light and visibility. The doors are fitted with an emergency opening system via hand chain with spring compensation support. The doors are suitable for structural openings of 3800w x 3338h.
