This year is a really big one for us at Cooks Industrial Doors – we’re turning 60! It’s hard to believe just how far we have come since we first opened our doors, and we wanted to celebrate the milestone properly. So, we threw an anniversary ball and got together with our team, friends, long-term partners, and supporters for an evening full of laughter, good food, and a lot of memories.
A Night to Remember
We kicked things off with welcome drinks, kindly sponsored by Hörmann, which was a perfect way to greet everyone as they arrived. After that, we all tucked into a delicious three-course meal while catching up and sharing stories. It was just great to be in the same room celebrating everything we’ve built together over six decades.
Entertainment came in the form of Norfolk magician Edd Crafer, who wowed everyone with his close-up magic and had plenty of people scratching their heads in amazement! Then our Managing Director, Martin Cook, gave a heartfelt speech, looking back on 60 years of hard work, innovation, and the incredible relationships we’ve built with customers, suppliers, and partners.
Music, Raffles, and Giving Back
Of course, no party is complete without music. Move Your Brass got everyone up and dancing, and we rounded off the night with a raffle and charity auction led by Edd. Thanks to everyone’s generosity - both our guests and sponsors - we raised £2,450 for NANSA, a local charity supporting people with additional needs. It felt amazing to have a celebration that also gave back to our community.

Looking Back and Moving Forward
Reaching 60 years has made us all stop and think about how far we’ve come since those early days back in the ’60s. What started as a small local business has grown into something we’re all really proud of, and that’s down to the people around us - our hardworking team, loyal customers, and the brilliant partners we’ve met along the way.
We’ve been through plenty of changes over the years. One thing that’s stayed the same however is how much we care about doing a good job. We still get a real enjoyment out of seeing a project come together, or hearing from a happy customer.
As for the future, we’re excited. We’ll keep finding ways to get better at what we do, deliver top-quality products, and give our customers the service they know us for. And we’ll carry on supporting our local community - because that’s always been part of who we are.
