Last year the popular Willingham Auctions in Cambridge built a new showroom space to feature more of precious antiques, collectables and fine art. The new facility was built by the award-winning team at Border Oak Design & Construction with a stunning solid oak frame, perfectly complementing the neighbouring buildings and surroundings, without compromising on modern touches and accessibility.
Our doors team supplied and installed modern automatic entrance doors, the bold and elegant framing of the doors designed to suit the colour palette and strong, solid frame of the building. The made to measure doors provide easy access for all visitors, providing step free pedestrian access and the wide entrance allows for larger objects to be easily transported into and out of the showroom – ideal for lots and auctions of cars, pianos and artwork!
The double automatic sliding door package with side glazing panels were installed with entrance and exit sensors, in compliance to BS EN16005. Our experienced installation team were on hand to explain use of the programmable sensors and available configurations to the auction house staff, and our ongoing maintenance package will ensure the perfect operation of the energy efficient electric doors.
