The Port of Ipswich is one of the UK’s most important grain ports. In the first six months of 2016, over half a million tonnes of grain was exported through Ipswich – a significant proportion of which passed through the Ipswich Grain Terminal. This large agribulk facility handles grains suitable for human consumption as well as those intended for animal feed. Their large storage houses needed similarly large doors.

Hand Built in Cooks Doors Workshop

The team at Cooks Industrial Doors Ltd have got decades of experience in the construction of bespoke doors. We hand-built the made-to-measure Titan Doors and then supplied and installed them at the Ipswich Grain Terminal working in partnership with the main site contractor.

These shutter doors are built to last. With a periodic maintenance programme in place, we would expect these doors to have a very long life of safe regular use. We offer a maintenance plan on all of our doors. A periodic inspection by one of our experts allows us to identify and fix putative faults before they develop into something much more serious and costly.
