Cooks Doors is proud to support GoGoHares 2018

Cooks are proud to be taking part in the fantastic GoGoHares sculpture trail, an incredible event taking place over the summer months that will raise thousands of pounds for the local children’s charity Break. The team at Break charity have again partnered up with Wild in Art after the incredible success of the Gorillas in 2013 and Dragons in 2015. This year is Break’s 50th anniversary,

Our City Hare is being painted by Alex Egan, a Norfolk based artist with a stunning portfolio of expressive and emotive paintings. We can’t wait to see how Alex transforms our Hare which will be one of 50 forming the sculpture trail through Norwich. Alex painted a dragon in 2015 for the GoGo project, her design ‘Birdie’ was bought at auction by Break patron and television presenter Jake Humphrey.

We took part in GoGoDragons 2015, sponsoring Raptors Fire, painted by the brilliantly talented artist Jessica Copping. A total of £369,500 was raised from the auctioning of the 82 dragons, with our Raptors Fire sold for £5,200! We love getting involved in the GoGo projects that bring so much fun to Norwich and raise so much money for such a worthy charity.
