We recently completed the installation of a heavy-duty Titan industrial power operated roller shutter door in Egmere, Norfolk. This project involved the removal of two existing sliding door panels, preparation of the opening, and the installation of a new state-of-the-art roller shutter door.
Project Details
Removal and Disposal. Two existing sliding door panels were carefully removed from the site, leaving the floor and top tracks in place. The remaining two sliding hanger door panels were securely fixed in position and re-welded at the sides to seal any gaps.
Opening Preparation. A new opening was prepared for the roller shutter door, including the supply and installation of a 180mm x 90mm PFC steel support frame and all required plastisol coated flashings.
Roller Shutter Door Installation. A heavy-duty Titan industrial power operated non-insulated roller shutter door was manufactured and installed. The door features:
Power Operation. The door is equipped with a GFA Safedrive three-phase motor, complete with an internal manual override. The motor is wired and commissioned to the customer's existing three-phase 16 amp 5 pin socket with neutral and earth, located approximately 1300mm from the floor. The door is operated using internal up/down/stop push buttons.
