Structure of a Steel Door
The steel doors that we supply and install have a resin-impregnated honeycomb core interior encased in 1-2mm thick corrosion resistant steel. If you require extra insulation, you can opt for a mineral wool, polyurethane or solid timber core.
Door Frames and Dog Bolts
A door is only as as strong as its frame. Our steel security doors are attached to a frame
folded from 1·6mm Zintec/Aluzinc. The door is attached to the frame by dog bolt hinges - these offer extra security at what can be a door’s weak point. When an intruder tries to force a dog bolt hinge, its patented mechanism engages with the door frame preventing easy access.
Vacant Properties
It is sometimes necessary for one or more of the properties in your commercial portfolio to be left vacant for a time. These properties are particularly vulnerable to squatters and vandals who can cause expensive damage to the interior of your property if they gain entrance. Securely locked steel doors provide a physical and visual barrier that will deter intruders from even attempting to enter your vacant property.
