We have just supplied and installed two Hörmann SPU F42 double-skinned insulated sectional doors, complete with compound windows, to a site in Wymondham. Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions provide fire detection equipment to a global market. They asked for their new doors to be powder coated in fire-engine red and we delivered.
Excellent Thermal Insulation
Each section of the double skinned doors is 42mm thick and filled with polyurethane foam. This provides excellent thermal insulation – ensuring the interior of a building is shielded from the effects of the weather outside.
Fully Compliant with Relevant Legislation
This model of Hörmann door is available in a maximum width of 8000mm. The doors comply fully with the requirements of EU legislation regarding the safety of powered doors and gates (EN 13241-1).
A Tall Order
The compound windows have been installed at eye level – so that should give you an idea of how tall these doors are. The maximum height available is 7500mm.
