Cooks Industrial Doors have engineers based in Suffolk and Essex as well as working out of our base in Norfolk. Our Essex team brought all of their skills to bear in this recent installation of a dock leveller.
Heavy Precise Work
Installing dock levellers is precision work that requires a high level of skill and experience to do properly. There’s quite a bit of grunt work involved as well as the Levellers are pretty heavy! Once installed, dock levellers make the work of loading and unloading delivery lorries much simpler as your team can compensate for the different heights of various lorry floors.
Speedy Delivery
With a dock leveller in place, the back of your lorry can be loaded or unloaded horizontally rather than goods having to be passed down to ground level. This will considerably increase the speed of transfer from lorry back to warehouse – improving your logistics and probably saving a few unintentional breakages along the way.Â
