As a company that’s been trading for more than fifty years, we’re earnt a reputation for quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We’re proud of our reputation, but we know that accreditations are the proof of the pudding. We’re accredited by a number of national organisations and institutes that continually assess us to provide reassurance that we are as great as our reviews claim!

We’re accredited by SafeContractor, who ensure that members meet and surpass health and safety regulations. Making sure our supply chain, work practices, premises and staff are all compliant with health and safety laws is important not only for the wellbeing of our staff but for other contractors we work with. Similarly, we look to work with contractors who are also accredited, the SafeContractor status is recognisable symbol of a responsible company and best practice.

DHF is the only unified trade body representing the interests of the industrial doors, rolling shutters and automated gates sectors. Formed in 1897 and regarded as the ‘Centre of Excellence’ with a network of more than 400 members, DHF is the benchmark for professional and reliable contractors who work in our industry. The status of our DHF accreditation is a reassurance to customers that they are using products and contractors of the highest quality that conform with the latest health, safety and technical legislation.

Nothing to do with the supermarket, ADSA stands for Automatic Door Suppliers Association and develop the industry codes of practice. Covering the safety of automatic doors for pedestrian use, ADSA have developed the British Standards, which have been updated over the past thirty years to accommodate advances in technology and new safety devices. The association offers strict training and examinations, their high standards means they are actively involved in the formulation of European-wide standards.

CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals more than 20 years to create a body that standardises requirements and unifies contractors. Since its formation, CHAS has become an authority on health and safety compliance and third-party accreditation, setting industry benchmarks. Accreditation to this scheme enables us to work with a number of public and private sector clients, streamlining supply chain and procurement practices.

We’re proud of our accreditations and work hard to ensure we’re the best we can be. For more information on any of our services or products, call 0800 0180304 or email sales@cooksdoors.co.uk.
