Say hello to the latest addition to the Cooks family, Hare-Rae Busta! This big, beautiful Hare has been painted by local artist Alex Egan and will join the GoGoHares city trail next month. We unveiled the Hare last week at a special event at our showroom, where we also held a brilliant bake sale judged by chef Richard Bainbridge of Benedicts Restaurant

GoGoHares is a series of events across Norfolk and follows the success of the hugely popular GoGoGorillas and GoGoDragons, raising money and awareness for the children’s charity Break. We’re proud to be involved in the project again and absolutely love the Hare designed and painted by Alex Egan, it’s a stunning piece of art that we can’t wait to see being enjoyed by the people of Norfolk when it goes on display next month. Alex Egan said of the design:

“The inspiration behind the hare is the Norfolk landscape through the seasons - the seasons develop from spring through to winter and there are a number of hares visible and not so visible in the painting... I often see hares on my walks, sometimes they are very elusive and you just catch a glimpse but if you see them boxing they are oblivious to onlookers – focused on the task in hand!”

GoGoHares 2018 is presented by Break charity in partnership with Wild in Art. Find out more at www.gogohares.co.uk or visit the GoGoHares Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
