Cooks Industrial Doors is a family owned and run industrial door systems business. Cooks have a history spanning over 50 years and, in that time, have become the region's industry leader as well as being trading partners with Europe's largest door manufacturers. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join our industrial sales team.Â
Responsible Position
Reporting to the Sales and Design Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
• Receiving and following up tender enquiries.
• Arranging site surveys.
• Analysis of tender documents under the supervision of senior members of the team.
• Assessing customer requirements and ensuring these are met through cost-effective solutions.
• Preparing of estimates for industrial/commercial electro-mechanical projects.
• Obtaining up-to-date cost and technical information from suppliers.
• Analysing and preparing technical drawings.
• Being a point of contact for technical support on all products.
A Skilled Candidate
The minimum requirements we have for our ideal candidate include:
• GCSEs in English and Maths Grade C, or equivalent.
• Experience in a retail position, or relevant industry.
• Strong mathematics and computer literacy skills, including MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We also expect our winning candidate to be an enthusiastic and hardworking team player who is presentable, punctual and professional.
