We’ve previously discussed the benefits of PVC strip doors and curtains for industrial use, but this hugely popular and practical product has many uses in commercial sectors too. The common strip door is often used in warehouses and factories, but it is also suitable for commercial kitchens, datacentres and shops.Â
Benefits of PVC

Hot or Cold
PVC is an insulating material – keeping in heat or cold – and can be used in doorways where temperature control is important such as kitchens and refrigerated areas. IBM’s Robert Sullivan introduced the concept of hot aisle/cold aisle cabinets in 1992, and that is still seen as the best way regulate data centres. PVC strip doors used to enclose the aisles will make a huge difference to running costs and as they are fire retardant they are a safe choice for a room full of hardware.Â
